Easter 2013

Bryan's dad and 2 of his sisters all have birthdays within 4 days of each other at the end of March, so they always host a birthday bash, along with an Easter Egg Hunt in gramma and grampa's big back yard.  It's so fun--they have different areas of the yard marked off for the tiny kids (just Bree and Noah), the bigger kids, and the grown-ups.  We always end up with a great mix of candy, toys, and other prizes.  Here are some action shots:

Bree's favorite part of the day--this sucker!  She sucked on it (and drooled all over) during all of lunch and all of the Easter Egg Hunt!

 

On Easter morning we had to wake the kids up early to look for their baskets because we have 9:00 church (which I generally love, but it's hard on Easter and Christmas).  They were so tired, after our vacation/travel and the party at gma & gpa's house.  They just couldn't quite wake up!

Please ignore my muu-muu house dress and slippers, and instead notice the sleepy, sleepy kids!

When I put Bree down to go look for eggs, she immediately did this...  poor gal!

Eventually they woke up enough to find their eggs and baskets.  Here they are in their Easter clothes for church: (with our pretty new piano in the background!)
