Hooper Haunt

Our little Hooper City holds a "Hooper Haunt" every year on the Saturday before Halloween.  Each year it gets a little bit bigger and more interesting.  The first year or two it was just a bunch of luminary bags (paper sacks that are decorated and then candles are placed inside to light them up) and a free cookie.  Meh.  Then they added some fun pumpkin displays (a little like the Pumpkin Walk in North Logan).  Better.  Then they added a haunted house.  Fun!  They they added pumpkin carving/decorating stations and interactive photo shoots with props.  Lots of fun!

When we went this year we actually decided to just go through really quickly right before it started--it is held at the park and it's free, so nobody could really stop us from coming early.  We wanted to avoid the crowds and the cold and then get home to complete our "Back to the Future" marathon that we started a few weeks ago.  The kids loved the 1st movie, thought the 2nd was weird (don't we all think that?), and we were anxious to go watch the 3rd.  So we zipped through the photo spots and headed on home to Doc and Marty.  Here are our pics:

I love how the kids made faces.  Here they are floating heads in jars...

Tess holding up 3 photo props at once!  Talent!

Our little princess...  (She is having issues lately with looking AT the camera!  She has had her picture taken a million times in her life, but just recently she has started looking away.  She'll pose cute and smile, and then look off to one side and it's driving me nuts!)

This one's probably my favorite!

I kept expressing frustration at Bree's inability to look at the camera (seriously I snap probably 10 pictures of the same pose to get ONE where she's looking!) and so Bryan decided to be like her in these...
 ...here's a cute one though.
