Inspiration Point

After Tomato Days, Bryan was itchin' for another Jeep ride.  We went up to Inspiration Point above Mantua.  It is always so beautiful to see all across the valley.  To the west, you can see from Tremonton clear down into Salt Lake County (the kids love watching the teeny tiny boats on Willard Bay), and then turn around to the east and see up into Cache Valley and Eden/Liberty area.  Super pretty!

Our little long-suffering Parker Dog joined us for the ride.  He stood very still while the kids decorated him with rocks...

Then we went for a short hike.  We let Parker off the leash to just run around a bit.  The kids were so nervous that he'd just bolt and be lost forever, but we promised that he'd stay near us.  He would always run ahead and explore, but sure enough he would always come on back to where we were.  He's a good little dog.

On our way home we got burgers at Calls' Family Drive-In in Perry.  A great end to our fun Labor Day weekend!
