Firsts

Tess started 1st Grade today.  She was very excited to go and she was also happy when she came home, so I'm happy too.  She loved having lunch in the lunchroom and having 2 recesses (today was early-out; they get 3 recesses on regular days!)  Here she is in her cute new school clothes/backpack:

 Another first is for Bree...she has so much hair that I was able to do a little top pony!  Tess was 10 months old before we could do a top pony, so to be able to do Bree's at only 2 months old is pretty exciting!  Here she is:  (And also in this photo it looks like her eyes are very blue...Bryan & I have been thinking that they might stay blue.  Tess and Miles both have their daddy's dark brown eyes, but maybe Bree will have light eyes like me.  Time will tell.)

Since Bree is looking so serious in that picture, I thought I'd throw in a cute one of her grinning.  She is so sweet!
