Costume Contest

Our local library was holding a Fan Con, which was like a little tiny Comic Con where they had booths and games and a costume contest where the winners would win tickets to the real Comic Con.  So we decided to take the kids and check it out.  Bryan had a beard that he was ready to shave anyway, so we decided to break out the Captain Jack Sparrow outfit and have him enter the costume contest, just for the heck of it.

The kids all wanted to join in, so we let them pick any costume they wanted.  Bree created hers from her dress-up bin.  She was "Princess Barbie."  (Here she is with her age group in front of the judges.)

Miles was Spiderman.  (Nice moves!)

And Tess was Hermione Granger.  (We told her to say "Accio Tickets!" but she was too shy.)

Unfortunately we didn't win any tickets, darn it!  But we had fun anyway.
